At NG Platinum Homes, a successful bathroom renovation starts with understanding the space before anything is removed. Our pre-construction process allows us to plan around existing conditions, coordinate every detail, and minimize the surprises that can turn a bathroom remodel into a lengthy project.

We Investigate Before We Renovate

Every bathroom project begins with an in-depth on-site assessment. Using hydrostatic levels, digital angle finders, Matterport Pro3 technology, and other professional measuring tools, we document the room with a level of detail that goes far beyond a traditional contractor walkthrough.

Before construction begins, we evaluate:

• Floor elevations, slopes, and level variations

• Walls that are bowed or out of square

• Ceiling heights and wall-to-ceiling inconsistencies

• Existing plumbing and fixture locations

• Conditions that could affect tile, stone, glass, cabinetry, and shower construction

Bathrooms demand precision. Even small inconsistencies can become noticeable when installing large-format tile, stone slabs, frameless shower glass, floating vanities, or detailed millwork.

The Bathroom Is Built Digitally First

Using our Matterport Pro3 scans and detailed field measurements, we create a digital representation of the existing space before demolition.

This allows our designers, project managers, and trades to coordinate everything from vanity dimensions and plumbing locations to lighting, tile layouts, niches, fixtures, and shower glass before construction begins.

Materials Are Ready Before Demolition

We don’t believe your bathroom should be demolished and then sit unfinished while materials are being selected, ordered, or fabricated.

Whenever possible, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, tile, stone, lighting, hardware, and other critical components are finalized and coordinated before demolition begins.

That means once construction starts, our team can keep moving instead of waiting weeks for decisions or materials.

During Construction

Perfectly Square Walls

Walls that are out of square are corrected at the framing level before tile, stone, glass, or cabinetry is installed—creating the precise surfaces a luxury bathroom requires.

Schluter® Waterproofing

We use Schluter® waterproofing systems exclusively in showers and wet areas. Floors, walls, niches, benches, curbs, corners, and penetrations are carefully waterproofed before finishes are installed.

Precision Tile & Stone Layout

Tile, stone, niches, plumbing fixtures, vanities, mirrors, and accessories are laid out in advance so grout lines, edges, fixtures, and architectural details align intentionally.

Plumbing Verification

Water pressure is documented before construction and verified again upon completion. Relocated drain lines are camera-inspected before concrete is poured to confirm proper installation and drainage.

Heated Floors

When specified, we install Schluter® DITRA-HEAT systems for heated bathroom and shower floors, combining comfort with professional uncoupling and waterproofing solutions.

Final Floor Verification

Before vanities, glass, and finishes are installed, floor elevations and slopes are checked again to ensure proper drainage, level cabinetry, and precise installation.

Level 5 Walls & Premium Finishes

Walls receiving wallpaper or specialty finishes are prepared to a Level 5 finish, while cabinetry, hardware, stone, and fixtures are installed using precision measuring equipment.

Daily Owner Supervision

Every NG Platinum Homes project is personally supervised by an owner.
