We Start with an Engineering-Level Assessment

Every kitchen renovation begins with a comprehensive 2–3 hour consultation. Using hydrostatic levels, digital angle finders, and Matterport Pro3 technology, we create what we call an MRI of your kitchen.

This allows us to identify:

• Foundation and floor level variations

• Walls that are out of square

• Ceiling and wall intersection inconsistencies

• Framing irregularities that could affect cabinetry and finishes

By uncovering these issues at the inital consultation, we eliminate the unexpected discoveries that often appear after demolition—discoveries that typically increase costs and extend timelines.

No Surprise Change Orders

During Construction

Perfectly Square Walls

Any wall identified during our initial assessment as being out of square is taken down to the studs. We plane or replace framing members as needed to create perfectly straight, square walls before cabinetry is installed.

Full-Scale Wall Layout

Before installation begins, every cabinet, shelf, appliance, and accessory is drawn directly onto the walls. This allows our electricians and plumbers to place every outlet, switch, water line, and drain exactly where it belongs—not even half an inch off.

Water Pressure Benchmarking

We measure your kitchen’s water pressure before demolition begins to establish a performance benchmark. Once the new plumbing is complete, we verify that your new system meets or exceeds the original performance.

Sewer Camera Inspection

Whenever drain lines are relocated, they are inspected with a sewer camera before concrete is poured. This confirms proper alignment and drainage slope before the work is permanently covered.

Daily Owner Supervision

Every project is supervised daily by one of the owners of NG Platinum Homes.

Final Floor Verification

Immediately before cabinet installation, we perform one final floor inspection using a digital hydrostatic level. This confirms the floor is perfectly prepared for level cabinetry, countertops, and appliance installation.

Premium Blum Hardware

Every kitchen comes standard with genuine Blum undermount drawer systems and Blum soft-close hinges, providing exceptional durability and smooth, quiet operation for years to come.

Factory-Grade Paint Finish

We don’t stop painting when the minimum number of coats has been applied—we stop when the finish is flawless.

Our standard includes premium paint, a minimum of two coats of primer and two coats of finish paint, with additional coats applied whenever necessary to achieve a true factory-grade finish.

Precision Hardware Installation

Cabinet pulls and knobs are installed by master carpenters using precision electronic measuring and leveling tools to ensure perfectly aligned hardware throughout the kitchen.

Schluter® DITRA Protection

For dry tile areas, we install Schluter® DITRA uncoupling membrane beneath the tile to help absorb movement in the subfloor and significantly reduce the likelihood of cracked tile or grout joints.

CNC-Fabricated Countertops

Our countertops are digitally measured and fabricated using CNC laser technology rather than traditional hand templating. The result is an exceptionally precise fit with tighter seams, cleaner reveals, and a true custom installation.

Level 5 Wall Preparation

Any wall receiving wallpaper is finished to a Level 5 drywall finish before installation. This ultra-smooth surface provides a superior appearance, stronger adhesion, and helps your wallpaper maintain its beauty for many years.
